NSA 2022 Henry F. Schorreck Memorial Lecture: historian and author Jason Steinhauer

The internet has changed history. Social media, Wikipedia, mobile networks, and the viral and visual nature of the Web have inundated the public sphere with historical information and misinformation, changing what we know about our history and History as a profession. Because Historians and Intelligence Analysts share many of the same skills and attributes, CCH invited noted historian and author Jason Steinhauer to be the 2022 Schorreck Memorial Lecturer.

Historians from NSA's Center for Cryptologic History (CCH), other parts of the Intelligence Community, and the Department of Defense, as well as distinguished scholars from American and foreign academic institutions, veterans of the profession, and the interested public, will gather at the end of October for two days of reflection and debate on the cryptologic past.
