National Security Agency Announces the Creation of New "Lablets" in Support of the Science of Security
FORT MEADE, Md. — For the past three years, the National Security Agency (NSA) and US Government have been partnering with academia to create a research community dedicated to the Science of Security (SoS). More recently, NSA made a strong commitment to this venture by giving almost three hundred departments at universities the opportunity to receive funding to develop "Lablets" in partnership with private industry and NSA.

NSA Announces 2013 Best Scientific Cybersecurity Paper Competition
The National Security Agency is seeking nominations for the 2013 Annual Best Scientific Cybersecurity Paper Competition. The competition is for scientific papers that were published between October 1 2012 and December 31 2013 and that show an outstanding contribution to cybersecurity science. Deadline for nominations is March 31 2014.
