SELinux Mailing List

Participating in SELinux Development

If you have an interest in Security-enhanced Linux, we encourage you to join the developers' mailing list, look at the source code, and provide your feedback (or code.) If you are a US citizen and are interested in working on projects like this, you might also consider looking at the National Security Agency as an employer.

Your comments, improvements, and constructive criticism are important to the future and success of Security-enhanced Linux.

SELinux Developers' Mailing List

The SELinux list is the developers' mailing list for the Security-enhanced Linux released by NSA. Comments on and patches to the current code, suggestions for improvements, and constructive criticism are welcome. NSA researchers and developers from NSA research partners participate in the list discussions with community members interested in the continued development of the security features.

Subscribing to the List

To participate in the SELinux mailing list send a message containing "subscribe selinux" in the body to majordomo@vger.kernel.org. If you have trouble using the automated subscription process or mailing list please contact the list owners at owner-selinux@vger.kernel.org.

External Development

The NSA SELinux team still participates in SELinux development. However, an increasing amount of development is happening outside of NSA. You may want to start at the SELinux wiki for some pointers to that work.
